Apt is seeking an associate architect to join its growing team in London.

The role

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Associate who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-orientated, who can effectively manage projects and teams. The successful candidate will have expert ability in structuring thoughts, exploring, explaining, and refining ideas whilst leading and motivating a team, providing clear guidance and direction.

You should be able to demonstrate the following:

proven experience of leading complex projects with a construction value between £50m and £200
a background that demonstrates excellent design and technical skills
experience of heading a project team and running projects across the full range of work stages
steering the design process in accordance with design direction and delivering to the highest standards
confidence in presenting to clients and consultants, as well as to senior colleagues as part of internal reviews
be capable of developing project programmes and design deliverables
have an excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction materials and detailing
have experience in reviewing and understanding detailed specifications
be proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
excellent verbal and sketch communication skills
ambitions to continue to develop your career in the industry and contribute to the success and growth of the studio

The position is a full-time role (40 hours per week), and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. The salary is between £55,000 and £70,000 and remuneration is dependent upon experience.
