Meet the Rowdy bunch

We’re Rowdy, a boutique, fast-growing branding agency with big ambitions and strong opinions!

We believe strategy exists to make design better. Not to produce complicated frameworks or impressive-looking presentations, but to create brands that are meaningful, distinctive and effective.

Our approach brings strategy and design together throughout the creative process. We challenge conventions, question assumptions and aren’t afraid to find a better way of doing things.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a talented strategist to grow with us.

The role

We’re looking for someone in the earlier stages of their strategy career who’s ready to get stuck into pretty much everything.

You’ll work directly with our Strategy Director across the full breadth of brand strategy, from research and discovery through to positioning, propositions, brand narratives, messaging and creative development.

You’ll help uncover insights, shape strategic thinking, develop presentations and turn complex challenges into clear, compelling ideas.

Initially, much of your role will involve supporting projects, but you’ll quickly have opportunities to take greater ownership and responsibility.

We’re a small team, so there’s plenty of variety, plenty to learn and plenty of opportunity to make a real contribution.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who has some experience in brand strategy or a related discipline. Brand experience is preferred, but we’re open to different backgrounds.

Has strong research and analytical skills, but knows that insight is only valuable if you can do something meaningful with it.
Is a confident writer who can communicate ideas clearly, simply and persuasively.
Is intellectually curious, asks good questions and enjoys getting to grips with unfamiliar subjects.
Has good strategic instincts and an interest in how strategy shapes creative work.
Is comfortable with ambiguity, open to changing their mind and happy to challenge ideas.
Is collaborative, adaptable and eager to learn and develop.

Why Rowdy?

We’re a small, ambitious agency that’s growing. Things move fast, roles are broad and there isn’t always a prescribed way of doing things. That’s exactly what makes it exciting.

You’ll have a genuine voice, work closely with experienced people and get involved in projects from beginning to end.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills quickly, take on real responsibility and help shape not just the work we produce, but the agency we’re becoming.

If you’re looking for somewhere to learn, contribute, challenge and grow, we’d love to hear from you.
