Freelance Social Art Director / Editorial Designer

SULLIVAN is looking for a freelance art director / designer to shape the visual direction of our Instagram — bringing our grid and stories together as a cohesive, editorial whole.

As we evolve the brand's visual language, we're looking for someone with a strong point of view around layout, composition, image selection, sequencing and visual storytelling to help translate the SULLIVAN world to social.

This is not a community management or content production role. The focus is creative direction, editorial layout and content strategy.

The role

Art direct and lay out the Instagram grid and Stories
Select, crop, sequence and pair imagery
Develop campaign rollouts and the pacing between larger content moments
Weave together different types of imagery into a cohesive feed
Introduce typography or graphic treatments where appropriate
Help evolve SULLIVAN's broader visual language and content strategy

We're looking for

Someone with an exceptional eye for originality, restraint, composition and flow. You might come from art direction, editorial or graphic design, fashion, publishing, photography or another image-led practice.

Freelance / ongoing / remote. We're open to working internationally.
