We are seeking an experienced, creative, and talented Project Manager – Yacht Design Implementation to bring our custom yacht design projects to life, reflecting the unmatched quality for which Sinot is known. Tasks:
- organization of project design development and implementation process of multiple superyacht projects based on contracts along parameters time, budget, performance, quality, legal
- assist partners and/or design leads in development of designs of superyachts according to requirements
- liaising with all internal and external (clients, client rep, project managers, suppliers, consultants, shipyard) stakeholders and organizing required information transfers according to contract
- enhance and improve design characteristics of superyachts according to external input and contracts
- check on conformity to rules and regulations of superyachts with Client Team and Shipyard
- having oversight and control on relevant project communication (including on all external stakeholder input), material samples and required project documentation relating to the contract
- organization of Sinot deliverables, client approvals and administration thereof
- safeguard and if required arrange efficient and effective execution of multiple projects in close cooperation with senior designers/CGI artists/stylists/FF&E specialist/design engineers as a project manager design implementation
- tight control on craftsmanship, detail design, mock-ups, consultant expertise, overall quality and other aspects according to contract during development and build.
Qualifications and requirements:
- senior-level professional experience and expertise as a project manager and interior and exterior yacht designer, specializing in the realization of superyachts
- professional knowledge of sources, suppliers, manufacturers, production technology and materials for superyachts
- strong and explicit organization-, communication- and presentation skills to control workflow, quality and deadlines, while remaining flexible and understanding
- able to work in a fast paced, international, complex & highly dynamic environment with a passionate creative team and extremely demanding clients and 3rd parties
- professional mastery of Adobe Suite, Office Suite, AutoCAD and English language (mastery of Rhino and understanding of Dutch is a plus)
- people-person, responsible, proactive, organized, accurate with a sharp eye for detail and conformity to design intent of superyachts
- living in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands, a valid EU work permit is required
- availability 40hrs per week, great flexibility towards work hours, willing & able to travel international/intercontinental on a regular basis
