Woldon Architects is seeking a talented Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified architect to join our Cotswolds office in Chipping Campden.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including workspace, mixed-use, and bespoke residential schemes, from concept through to completion. Candidates should have experience working on UK-based projects, including both new build and refurbishment, across all RIBA stages.

The role
You will be involved in projects across all RIBA work stages, working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. You will report to a senior architect and the partners, contributing creatively and technically throughout the design and delivery process.
The role requires confidence in liaising directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities, as well as the ability to manage your workload to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Requirements:
- experience working within a UK architectural practice on UK-based projects
- strong understanding of RIBA work stages and drawing package organisation
- good knowledge of construction methods and detailing
- understanding of Building Regulations, planning systems, and relevant legislation
- experience with NBS specifications
- proficiency in CAD (MicroStation preferred) and 3D visualisation
- ability to sketch by hand
- strong communication and organisational skills
- proactive, enthusiastic, and design-focused mindset
- ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external consultants
- capable of managing time effectively and working to deadlines
- full UK driving license (essential)

Location
Our Cotswolds office is based in Chipping Campden. Due to the rural location and limited public transport, access to the office via car and a full UK driving license are essential.
