Job description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive design coordinator to join our growing team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by bridging design, technical development and execution.
You will work closely with the design team, managers, consultants and contractors to coordinate workflows, maintain consistency across documentation and ensure projects progress efficiently from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities:
- act as the central coordination point between internal design teams, external consultants and contractors
- plan, structure, and monitor project timelines, deliverables and workflows across multiple projects
- ensure quality control and consistency of drawings, documentation and project outputs
- organise and manage project information, including drawings, revisions and specifications
- support the standardisation of processes, templates and documentation systems across the studio
- coordinate design development phases to ensure alignment between concept, technical drawings and execution
- identify potential delays or inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions
- assist in resource planning and workload distribution within the team
- lead internal coordination meetings and ensure clear follow-ups and accountability
- support communication with clients and stakeholders when required
Requirements:
- strong organisational skills
- solid understanding of interior architecture and design processes, from concept to technical delivery
- high attention to detail, particularly in reviewing drawings and documentation
- excellent communication and team coordination skills
- proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on improving efficiency
- ability to structure workflows and implement systems that enhance productivity
- previous experience in a coordination role within an architecture or interior design studio
- ability to work under deadlines and adapt to evolving project priorities
- fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese or French is a plus
Technical skills:
- strong understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit workflows and how they are used in practice (essential)
- familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Monday) is an advantage
