DO+CO is seeking an architect to join its south London architecture studio.
Established in 2013, DO+CO Studio creates joyful spaces and forward-thinking architecture. We are small, good-humoured, design-led and sustainability-focused. Our people matter as much as our projects. We are RIBA-shortlisted, Living Wage-accredited, and a Dezeen Top Companies employer 2026.
We are now seeking a highly skilled, problem-solving all-rounder with the confidence and experience to run some of our residential projects with minimal oversight. As a member of our close-knit team, you will have creative input on all aspects of the architectural process, and receive support from the team in return.
Person specification
Essential:
- legal right to work in the UK
- RIBA-accredited Part 3 architectural qualification
- minimum three years’ post-Part 3 work experience in a UK architecture practice
- demonstrable experience of all RIBA work stages, particularly stages 5 and 6
- accomplished hand-drawing and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- exceptional interpersonal, verbal and graphical communication skills
- client-facing expertise
- excellent team-working skills
- impeccable written and spoken English
- ability to work independently, responsibly and in a self-motivated manner
Desirable:
- proficiency using Mac, Vectorworks and SketchUp
- some experience in domestic or private residential architecture
Salary and benefits
Salary is dependent on experience and starts at no less than £42,000, benchmarked against the Pay 100 and other national salary surveys. We are an office-based practice and offer a degree of flexibility for hybrid working, which we discuss on a case-by-case basis.
