Caroline Pillot Francois Design is looking for a Part 2 freelancer to join its team in London.
We are mainly doing residential projects in SW London and are growing rapidly.
We are looking for a Part 2 freelancer with strong drawing skills, to be well organised and able to manage deadlines and workloads efficiently.
Responsibilities will include working on all phases of architectural interior projects including concept design, design development and production of construction documents, FF&E procurement. Job can be remote or not.
All responsibilities:
- support the creation and development of design concepts
- preparation of scopes of works for tenders
- preparation of presentation drawings and specifications
- preparation of furniture, fixtures and equipment schedules (FF&E)
- work closely with external contractors and suppliers on projects
- preparation of detailed joinery drawings for fitted furniture
- coordination and communication of all aspects of architectural design
- marketing/social media support
Skills and qualifications required:
- degree in interior architecture or architecture
- minimum of five years’ experience in studios doing residential architecture and interior design
- positive, intuitive, and very attached to details person who is able to produce high quality, accurate drawings as well as produce rendering and hand sketching
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Photoshop and SketchUp
- fluent spoken English and excellent verbal and written communication
