Job Description
The Theatre Program at Old Dominion University invites applicants for part-time adjunct instructional faculty to teach all levels Theatre courses at the undergraduate level. We are currently seeking individuals for, but this post may remain open for additional applications as opportunities arise. Those selected will be hired as part of an adjunct pool, which will be utilized as needed based on courses in need of coverage. We are currently interested in instructors for Acting 1, Intro to Theatre, Stage Movement, Acting for the Camera, and Audition Technique courses.

Minimum required education and/or special licenses, registrations, trainings, or certifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Preparation and/or experience teaching Theatre at the College Level.
Minimum required level and type of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Availability to teach in-person on Old Dominion University’s Norfolk, VA, campus between the hours of 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
