The Department of Art & Design seeks applicants for a Limited Term faculty position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Printmaking, beginning August 1, 2026, and ending May 10, 2027. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in printmaking and foundations and service at the department, college, and university levels.

Responsibilities
Teaching up to a 4/4 teaching load, engaging in student mentoring, recruitment, course management, and community engagement, maintaining the printmaking tools and studio, as well as demonstrating responsible stewardship of shared teaching and studio spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree in printmaking or related medium (M.F.A.) by appointment date
- Knowledge of skills and practices in printmaking, and ability to teach printmaking techniques
- Understanding of industry-standard safety practices and protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
- A record of effective teaching Ability to work with all levels of undergraduate students Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications
- A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
- A record of mentoring students
- Ability to manage and track a materials budget
