About the Department
The Department of Fine Arts at Perimeter College, home to the disciplines of art, music, theatre, and film, delivers a top-tier education and exceptional access to hands-on experiences. In addition to extensive course offerings, the department offers professional, student and community exhibitions, along with guest lectures and musical and theatrical performances. Graduates from our department have gone on to successful careers in the arts, in education, in law and in business. Our cadre of highly accomplished faculty not only prepare students for proficiency in their prospective fields, but also to be effective and engaged citizens who think critically.
Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking a part-time instructor in THEATRE who will play a key role in educating and supporting students at the Clarkston Campus.

Required Education
M.F.A. in Theatre performance specialty
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- MFA in Acting/Performance
- Experience teaching college undergraduate theatre students in Beginning Acting, Movement, Auditioning, and other performance areas.
- Knowledge or experience teaching non-major Intro to Theatre course.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to teach THEATRE courses on the collegiate level
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
- Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
