Woolf Interior Architecture & Design is seeking an architectural designer or Part 2 Architect to join its team in Bath, UK.
The candidate should have a strong work ethic, be organised, highly creative, have a great knowledge of materials and be able to communicate with contractors and suppliers effectively. They must have a desire to develop bespoke contemporary and historic concepts and enjoy designing for unique residential and hotel interiors. Plus enjoy working on projects as a team and solo.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing the creative vision alongside consultants, clients and design team
- delivering and developing technical design work from concept to delivery
- be able to present design concepts and ideas with confidence
- liaising with consultants and suppliers
Knowledge and experience:
- proven experience working within residential and hotel projects
- space planning and concept development
- experience producing detailed drawings packages and schedules
- experience of working to UK statutory requirements
- working knowledge of joinery and construction detailing
- exceptional attention to detail
- excellent time management skills
- work to design programs and cost planning budgets
Skills:
- Vectorworks, Revit and SketchUp – 2D and 3D software is essential
- a minimum two to three years’ interior design industry experience
- excellent rendering and/or sketching skills is an advantage
- ability to work to deadlines and multitask across various projects
- InDesign proficiency
