Job Description:
Summary:
The Theatre Program Assistant will assist the Theatre Program with a variety of administrative tasks and events, including program and production auditions, responding to Theatre Program prospective student questions and emails, and meeting and showing prospective students around the Katzen Arts Center and Greenberg Theatre facilities. This position also includes some standard administrative tasks for faculty members.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to student questions and emails.
- Meet and show prospective students around the Katzen Arts Center and Greenberg Theatre facilities.
- Complete standard administrative tasks for faculty members.
- Other duties assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-time.
- 6 hours per week.
Salary Range:
Required Education and Experience:
- Current AU student with an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
- The qualified candidate must be familiar with the Department of Performing Arts (Theatre Program).
- The candidate should have a minimum of one year of administrative or theatre production work experience.
