Nebihe Cihan Studio is seeking a jJunior interior designer to join its London team.

With a borderless approach to design, the studio delivers contemporary, refined spaces enriched with bespoke furnishings, antique pieces, and art sourced globally through an established network of suppliers, contractors, and craftsmen. From full turnkey interior design services to art direction, we consider every detail required to fully realise a design vision.
This role plays a key part in supporting the development and delivery of projects across all design stages, from concept through to completion, working closely with the wider studio team.
Please note this is an on-site position. The successful candidate will be required to work from our Chelsea studio.
Key responsibilities:
- develop furniture layouts in response to client briefs and project requirements
- assist with spatial planning and concept design alongside the project team
- produce design intent drawings using AutoCAD
- produce bespoke furniture drawings for costing
- source and specify FF&E from concept through to final detailing
- prepare FF&E schedules, documentation, and specifications
- assist in pricing FF&E items and reviewing supplier quotations
- support management of FF&E budgets across projects
- maintain and organise material libraries and coordinate sample tracking
- liaise with the design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E aligns with client expectations and budgets
- coordinate with external consultants, contractors, lighting designers, and architects
- attend client and site meetings when required
Requirements:
- undergraduate or graduate degree in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field
- minimum of one to two years’ of experience in high-end residential interior design within the UK
- strong understanding of materials, furniture, and FF&E sourcing
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp
- experience with Studio Designer or similar FF&E scheduling software
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English
- excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player
- ability to interpret and deliver varied design styles in line with project briefs
- must have the legal right to work in the UK and start immediately
