The Sushi Co is hiring a junior creative designer to join its team in London.
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded junior creative designer to join our small but high-performing marketing team at The Sushi Co. As a rapidly scaling hospitality brand, we are building momentum across new store openings, brand campaigns, digital channels, and in-store experience. Design is central to that growth.
This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment with an entrepreneurial feel and the energy of a start-up. You will have real responsibility and autonomy from day one, contributing work that directly influences customer engagement, brand perception, footfall, and sales performance. We operate as a commercially focused team — balancing creativity with clear business objectives — and we are looking for someone who is excited to grow alongside a brand on an accelerated journey.
Key responsibilities:
- designing, editing, and producing marketing materials, social media assets, presentations, print materials and content for channel ecosystem
- support seasonal campaigns, new store launches, and promotional activity with commercially effective creative
- develop in-store marketing materials, menus, POS, and print assets that enhance the customer experience and support revenue growth
- create digital assets across web, email, social channels and third-party delivery platforms
- maintain and evolve brand consistency across all customer touchpoints
- work closely with marketing, operations, and Leadership teams to align creative output with business priorities
- manage multiple live projects with pace, precision, and accountability
- take ownership of deliverables and proactively contribute ideas that elevate the brand
- maintaining, organizing, and archiving design files and assets
Skills and experience:
- a degree in graphic design or a related field design experience, ideally with an interest in working in hospitality, retail, food and beverage
- strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, commercial awareness, and technical ability
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Motion graphics, Premier Pro, After Effects and simple animation for Social)
- understanding of how design influences customer behaviour, brand perception, and commercial performance

- illustration skills (digital or hand-drawn)
