Benoy is looking for a senior architect/senior architectural designer – hospitality to join its team in London.
Are you a dynamic senior architect/senior architectural designer with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of global projects? We are looking for a senior architect/senior architectural designer with hospitality experience and expertise in hotel design and planning to join our London studio and be a part of our exciting, growing hospitality team on a permanent basis.
What we are looking for:
- present as a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking
- hospitality experience (hotel design and planning) required
- degree in related design field or equivalent certification or skill level; professional registration or equivalent is preferred
- a minimum of five years experience in the design and/or delivery of mixed-use developments either in the UK or internationally
- advanced capability in both Rhino and Revit is essential. Grasshopper would be advantageous
- strong modelling capability and experience with AI image generation
- proficiency in scripting or visual programming tools such as Rhino/Grasshopper, Dynamo, or Python for design automation and optimisation
- proficiency with computer applications commonly used such as Adobe Suite
- ability to work both collaboratively, and with autonomy as required
- strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

Key responsibilities
Design expertise:
- deliver high quality design work, engaging others with your creative and innovative thinking
- proven capability in hotel design and planning from hotel feasibility to detailed design stages
Project delivery:
- demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development
- deliver high quality work with limited guidance, demonstrating developed design and technical skills
- manage and co-ordinate with consultants on the relevant stages of the project
Team membership:
- act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities
- support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback
Client relationships:
- respond positively towards clients and consultants
- prrovide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required
Budget control
Recognise the importance of the project budget and seeks to develop their knowledge of project financials.
