Due to an increasing workload Paul Archer Design is seeking a qualified architect with proven experience to join its team in London.
We are a team of architects and designers, working on private residential projects in and around London. We are a client-focused practise, passionate about creating beautiful homes.
Projects to date include new-build, extensions, renovation and remodelling, including the renovation of historic listed buildings. It’s an ambition of the practice to apply low energy solutions to a modernist aesthetic in all projects. Our designs are contemporary, practical to build and make great places to live.
The ideal candidate will be expected to undertake the following:
- work closely with the directors to develop and run projects from concept to completion.
- expected to liaise with all members of the design team including third party consultants.
- manage projects at all RIBA Stages
- manage project programs, budgets and schedules
- contribute with client presentations
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Part 3 UK registered architect (ARB)
- minimum of five years working experience working on mid to high-end residential projects
- strong understanding of design and construction process with a clear understanding of sustainable construction method and technologies
- ability to manage and nurture architectural assistants
- good organisational and project management skills
- strong client communication skills; verbally and written
- fluent in spoken and written English – essential
- proven on-site experience in the private residential sector
- knowledge of Vectorworks, Sketchup, MS Office, an advantage
- ability to sketch freehand

9am – 6pm
