Spaceagency is looking for a bid lead to join its London studio.
This role focuses on the preparation, coordination and delivery of high-quality bids and proposals to support new business opportunities across the studio.

Role overview
This is a dynamic role suited to someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with 3–6 years of experience in bid coordination or a similar role. The Bid Lead will play a key role in managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, tailored submissions that are completed on time and aligned with client requirements. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement of bid materials, processes and systems to enhance efficiency and overall success rates.
Key responsibilities:
- prepare bids, proposals and tender documents that demonstrate a clear understanding of client needs and project objectives
- develop compelling, well-structured proposals that clearly communicate design solutions and value
- write, edit and structure proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency and quality
- collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and organise content inputs
- proofread and review submissions to ensure they are error-free, professionally formatted and tailored to client requirements
- own the end-to-end delivery of bids, ensuring they meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- help improve bid processes by introducing efficient workflows, tools and best practices
- support research on clients, competitors and project opportunities to strengthen submissions
- assist in tracking bid outcomes and organising feedback to inform future improvements
- support the preparation of presentations and materials for client interviews
- manage and update bid templates, reusable content libraries and case study materials
Required skills and experience:
- three to six years of experience in bid coordination
- a degree in architecture, design or a related field
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign essential)
- strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- a proactive, results-driven attitude
- a strong eye for design and layout
This is a full-time position based in London. Candidates must have a valid visa to work in the UK.
