Kvadrat is seeking a marketing manager to join its team in Copenhagen for a period of maternity cover.
Join Kvadrat and help accelerate our ambitious growth journey. We are looking for a proactive, self-driven marketing manager to lead and coordinate marketing activities for our architecture and end users segment, with a strong focus on Kvadrat Acoustics – a global leader in high-performing, aesthetic acoustic solutions. This is a 12-month maternity cover, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role in Kvadrat if performance and business opportunities allow.
About the role
This is a pivotal role for a marketer who can combine structure, energy, and creativity with sharp commercial understanding. You will be at the centre of driving, coordinating, and executing marketing activities across the A&E segment, while taking primary responsibility for supporting the continued growth of Kvadrat Acoustics.
You will work closely with the VP A&E, the Managing Director of Kvadrat Acoustics, and stakeholders across marketing, sales, PR, product development, and external agencies. Success in the role requires strong project leadership, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to turn complex input into clear briefs, strong plans, and timely execution.
Just as importantly, you will know how to work confidently and empathetically with highly specialised colleagues – including engineers and technical experts – and help bring the right information out at the right time to move projects forward.
Your primary responsibilities:
- drive and coordinate marketing activities for the A&E segment and Kvadrat Acoustics in line with the segment strategy, group marketing priorities, and business objectives
- collaborate closely with the managing director of Kvadrat Acoustics, the VP A&E, segment sales directors, PR, and other key stakeholders to ensure roadmap-related marketing activities are delivered with impact
- project management and execution of launches, campaigns, and marketing initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring strong alignment on timelines, deliverables and priorities
- develop briefing documents, project plans, and decision-making materials that enable efficient cross-functional collaboration and clear execution
- coordinate and manage key global events and fairs – including 3daysofdesign, client events, and art projects – from planning through execution and follow-up
- translate input from sales, product teams, and technical specialists into compelling presentations, sales briefings, and relevant marketing tools for architects, designers, and contractors
- work actively with data and insights from customers, products, and sales to support prioritisation, planning, and content development
- contribute to the Kvadrat Acoustics and A&E marketing plans, including content development, website maintenance support, and documentation of reference projects
- support broader architecture and end users marketing initiatives and ensure strong coordination across the wider team
What we’re looking for:
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
- several years of experience in a similar marketing role, ideally in a design-led, architectural, technical, or otherwise related environment
- a proven track record of supporting growth journeys and driving marketing activities that create commercial impact
- strong project management capabilities and the ability to keep multiple initiatives moving with clarity, pace, and precision
- a structured and organised way of working, combined with the energy and drive to make things happen
- a proactive, hands-on mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical profiles and navigate different personalities in a constructive, conflict-free way
- the confidence to take the lead, ask the right questions, challenge when needed, and keep cross-functional teams aligned and progressing
- a collaborative and empathetic personality with an international outlook and a genuine motivation to be part of the culture of Kvadrat and Kvadrat Acoustics
- a passion for design, innovation, and creating marketing that is both strategically strong and creatively inspiring
- fluency in English, written and spoken. Danish is not a requirement
- a valid legal right to work in Denmark without requiring visa sponsorship; applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered
What we offer:
- a key role in a global, design-led company with strong ambitions and a unique market position
- the opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth for Kvadrat Acoustics – one of the main growth drivers in our A&E segment
- close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the organisation, including the VP A&E and the Managing Director of Kvadrat Acoustics
- adynamic, international work environment with room for ownership, initiative, and impact
- abroad and varied role with exposure across marketing, sales, product development, and PR
- aculture built on strong teams, openness, respect, and a shared passion for design, quality, and innovation
- a12-month maternity cover with the possibility of becoming a permanent role in Kvadrat if performance and business opportunities allow.
