McGuinness Architects is hiring an experienced junior to mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.
McGuinness Architects is a RIBA chartered architectural practice and interior design studio specialising in high-end residential projects in London and the UK.
We are seeking an experienced junior to mid-weight interior designer to support project leads across all stages of the design process, from concept through to handover.
The role involves contributing to design programmes, producing high-quality client presentations, detailed design drawings, and FF&E design and documentation, while working to deadline.
The successful candidate will assist with bespoke furniture, lighting and joinery design, sourcing materials and finishes, managing FF&E packages, coordinating suppliers, and attending site visits and installations. You will work closely with the lead interior designers and the director, ensuring design quality, feasibility, and commercial viability throughout.
Key requirements:
- creative designer with strong conceptual ability and visualisation skills
- minimum two years’ experience on luxury hospitality and/or private residential projects
- strong project coordination and organisational skills
- confident in client presentations and communication
- solid design, detailing and technical knowledge
- ability to sketch and present concepts
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp
