Seen Studios is hiring a senior 3D designer – experiential and retail spaces to join its team in London.
An award-winning retail design agency who partners with leading retailers and consumer brands across brand design, strategy and interiors are looking for a Senior Designer to join their talented team. You will be working with a diverse range of exciting brands across culture, fashion, sports, and technology this busy studio is looking for someone who can effectively work across the creative solutions for retail, brand experience and brand communications projects, working with the internal and external team to realise work from concept to completion.

Your role and responsibilities
Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and expertise. Work closely with our Design Director to deliver our human-centric proposition. Maintains consistently high-quality design standards on all leading projects. Deputises in the DD’s absence to receive and delegate briefs. Uses multi-faceted experience to inspire and develop team members in design principles across all tasks. Keeps up to date creative scheduler, flags and recommends external support.
Works closely with design director to ensure clear design direction on leading projects while supporting more junior members of the team to maintain a consistent standard of design. Manages external creative resources i.e freelance design and visual support to match agency standard. Proactively provides recommendations to further enhance creative output. Owns and delivers design process from concept to completion in collaboration with project managers.
Attends/inputs into creative briefs and brainstorms and supports on the agency’s creative output. Supports the CD to drives creative inspiration and innovation and ensures that all work meets our human centric ambitions. Delivers strong design presentations with compelling narratives to clients using existing tools and design approach. Supports DD in creating design estimates for Project Managers to share back with clients.
Implements existing human-centric design strategy and recommends future opportunities to research to continue developing the agency’s forward-thinking approach.
Plays a key role in leading ideation and brainstorm sessions to produce innovative concepts and ideas for development. Lead design projects from concept to completion alongside design peers and project/production managers.
Desired skills and experience:
- six plus years’ experience as a designer for 3D spaces and interiors
- client facing experience
- experience in a leading a mid-weight/junior team on multiple briefs
- candidate must have experience in responding to creative briefs with a strong mind for ideation and conceptual design
- experience using Cinema 4D plus Corona Renderer, SketchUp and Vector Works
- proficient in Adobe Photoshop, illustrator and InDesign for visualising
- an education and passion for interiors and design
- open minded and willing to adapt to, and absorb company work methods whilst being eager and motivated in helping to improve standards as part of a group decision
- strong 3D visualisation, animation skills not required but would be a bonus
- the ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings
- an attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment
- skills in collaborating within a team environment
- an ability to solve problems creatively under pressure
- an ability to construct accurate and efficient 3D models and slick rendering

Time and location:
- candidate will be expected to work standard hours from 9am to 5:30pm with a degree of flexibility
- candidate will operate from the London, Shoreditch office however in certain circumstances we would also consider remote working. We are currently operating three days in the office minimum and two days WFH
