Internationally acclaimed luxury hospitality design firm Tihany Design is seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join its Rome studio.
Requirements:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or architecture
- minimum five years of related experience including demonstrated success as a project manager on a range of hospitality interiors project types
- strong interior architectural drawing and technical detailing skills
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, MS Office
- experience with the entire project lifecycle
- experience working on multiple projects and managing tight deadlines
- experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams
- strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
- leadership and ability to collaborate with project teams
- positive attitude, flexible and enthusiastic
Responsibilities:
- manage all phases of hospitality interiors projects, including project set-up, design and construction administration
- key team member managing the client management relationship
- developing project schedules for each phase in conjunction with client construction program
- ensure projects conform to contract
- managing projects independently, coordinating and cultivating relationships with other project consultants, sub-contractors and vendors
- track financial performance of project
- coordinating, preparing and assuring quality of design documents, FF&E specifications and drawings
- developing solutions to design problems in all phases of design as well as during project construction
- shop drawing review and construction administration
- supporting on preparing project proposals and coordinating bidding process
- manage a range of project team sizes
- assisting with organization of staffing schedule and delegation of tasks to support staff
- mentoring support staff and junior designers
