Holt Architecture is hiring a senior/project lead architect to join its team in London.

Are you a creative and driven architect looking to make a genuine impact within a small, forward-thinking practice? Holt Architecture is seeking an ambitious project architect to join our London studio to lead some exciting projects.

This role is ideal for a skilled designer with the experience to lead projects through all stages of development, from concept to completion. As part of a tight-knit team, you’ll take on meaningful responsibility, contribute to high-impact projects, and have the freedom to develop your own ideas within a supportive, collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

design leadership: drive architectural projects independently and within a team, developing creative solutions across concept and detailed design phases
collaboration: work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and innovative solutions
presentation and compliance: prepare and present design proposals, ensuring they align with planning regulations, building standards, and health and safety requirements
project management: deliver projects on schedule, with the flexibility to adapt as project needs evolve
business development: nurture existing and form new client relationships and attend networking events

Your skills and qualifications:

ARB registered architect
minimum four years of hands-on experience within an architectural practice
proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, and Microsoft office
strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainable design principles. Experience with BREEAM is a plus
exceptional design, interpersonal and organisational skills, with an eye for sustainable innovation and quality
this is a client facing role and you will be expected to attend meetings alone or with the practice director and to manage information flows within internal and external project teams
