Hayes Davidson is looking for an enthusiastic and creative marketing assistant to help shape how we share our work, thinking and culture across digital channels.
Working closely with the marketing and new business manager, and alongside project managers, artists and senior creatives, you will support the studio’s brand presence and manage day-to-day marketing activity, ensuring our channels reflect our intent and the quality of our work.
The role
The marketing assistant plays a key role in shaping and delivering day-to-day marketing activity, supporting how projects are shared through social media, our website and studio communications, ensuring our output is clear, consistent and considered.
This is a hands-on role. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling content, supporting the creation of short-form video and visual material, maintaining web content and helping coordinate what is published and when. You will also contribute to research, industry awareness and background preparation that supports client partnerships, award submissions and presentations.
Key responsibilities:
- help deliver the planning, creation and scheduling of content across social media channels, including written copy, short-form video and visual posts
- maintain and build website content, including portfolio pages, web stories, galleries and LABS posts, ensuring all content is accurate, up to date and well organised, using material provided by the marketing and new business manager and creative teams
- support industry awareness and research, including tracking awards deadlines, monitoring relevant news and providing background research for pitches, credentials and client follow-ups
What you’ll need:
- a strong interest in social and digital content, with a good instinct for how creative work is shared and presented
- clear copywriting skills, attention to detail and understanding of tone of voice
- experience creating social media content, including basic video editing
- digital competency and confidence working with new platforms and tools
- a collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to work well with creative teams
- good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- an interest in architecture and the wider creative industry is advantageous
