Our client, a full-service brand experience agency, is seeking a Senior Creative to lead their London team. Super exciting studio working with a wide variety of prestigious brands across the beverage/FMCG/retail space. A team of talented spatial and graphic specialists. Central London location.
The Role
As the Head of Design you will spearhead the delivery (and development) of creative concepts for experiential projects. We are looking for a visionary leader, experienced in executing experiential projects - working from concept stages through to final delivery. You will grow and run a busy commercial studio, leading a team of designers and ensuring standards are high, project expectations are met and the wider business and external partners are serviced. You’ll foster a culture of creativity, collaboration and learning within the Studio, setting standards of excellence and driving continuous creative output development – you will also be keen to lead by example and jump onto the tools at times. Your keen eye for design and your strategic mindset will enable the creation of experiences that captivate, engage and inspire.
What we are looking for:
- At-least 5 yrs design experience with 2 years working as a senior creative for an experiential/events based agency or similar – ideally with studio leadership experience.
- A background in experiential, environmental or spatial design.
- A portfolio showcasing concept and design driven work specifically in the events realm
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to empower, motivate and inspire team members.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and liaising closely with third parties.
- In person events experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Mastery of digital design tools [Adobe Creative Suite and various 3D and rendering tools]
- Passion for creative brand experiences.
- Experience working with drinks brands would be highly beneficial.
- Understanding of and experience of 3D spatial design with full hands- on design capabilities.
