Unagru is looking for an experienced Part 3 project architect to join its studio in London.
Unagru is a young practice based in Hackney Downs with a varied background in urbanism, ecological design and architecture, and a growing portfolio of private residential, commercial, community and mixed-use schemes. We are a friendly, collaborative team sharing office space with like-minded architecture practices.
In the past few years we have completed several projects, won awards, shown one of our projects at the London Open House and created a cooperative company with other architect friends to buy and fit out our new office in Hackney.
We built and launched a website to help people get rid of gas boilers (www.nomoregas.org), bringing us to meet tens of pragmatic activists, companies and institutions. We are working hard to expand our portfolio.
We want to meet someone who will, in time, become a leader within the practice and help us grow and diversify. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of post-qualification experience (Part 3 equivalent). They will be very passionate about architecture and construction technology. They will be confident working independently and collaborating effectively in a project team through all design phases. They will contribute to the company’s growth by improving processes and standards, investing time in education and sharing knowledge with the team. They will coordinate and manage projects from start to finish and deal directly with clients, contractors and consultants. They will have exceptional attention to detail.
