Whitby Wood is seeking a marketing and business development coordinator to join its team in London.
The individual will support and deliver internal and external communications across the practice.
Working closely with senior leadership and technical teams, you will help tell the Whitby Wood story: who we are, what we do and why it matters.
You will need to be a great communicator, pragmatic, organised and calm under pressure.

The role requires a good understanding of branding and tone of voice, and a genuine interest in sustainability and the built environment.
Responsibilities include:
- planning
- content creation and content management for website
- social media
- newsletters and internal platforms
- supporting project and brand storytelling
- coordinating with internal teams and external partners to gather information and maintain collateral
- monitoring and reporting on communications performance
- supporting BD activities
- assisting leadership in BD and communications strategy delivery
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning complex ideas into clear, engaging content, and is excited by engineering, design and the built environment.

The ideal candidate’s skills include:
- experience in a communications, marketing or content development role
- excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, written English and editing skills
- ability to communicate complex or technical information clearly, attention to detail
- strong organisational skills, and confidence working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- familiarity with social media management and content scheduling tools
- proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop
