HID Group UK is seeking a junior FF&E designer to join its team in London.
The activities described below represent what is required from this job role. It should be noted that candidates for this role should show strength and/or ability in each of these areas of experience. The candidate will be required to compliment the strengths, skills and expertise of others within the
team. These activities may, from time to time, be reviewed and changed in line with changing business requirements.
FF&E experience and skills necessary:
- BA in interior design or equivalent with a minimum of two years of professional experience in high-end residential and or hospitality interiors
- source new suppliers with the capability and capacity to satisfy different project needs as well as providing up to date information from existing and new suppliers and industry news
- you must be able to formulate ideas quickly. working closely with your team
- you will have a good understanding of international suppliers and be continually adding to your knowledge in all sectors of FF&E design
- you will be an excellent communicator, able to establish good relationships with your colleagues and suppliers. Be able to establish costs and take briefs
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Word, Excel, Estimac /Folio or other specification software
- competent producer of schedules and specifications
- exceptional attention to detail and good knowledge of materials, finishes and details
- excellent time management and organisational skills
