The role
SODA is seeking a mid-weight interior designer to join its vibrant Soho-based practice. This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
SODA is different from other practices. We are a highly collaborative and social team that brings together architecture, interiors, graphics under one umbrella.
Applicants are sought with strong conceptual and visualisation skills and experience in contributing to construction detailing and tender packs for fit out schemes across RIBA stages. New projects include Central London commercial and hospitality projects involving complex new-build and refurbishment elements.
Experience required:
- degree-level qualification in interior design or interior architecture.
- project experience from concept through to completion.
- experience in sourcing materials, finishes, furniture and presenting an scheduling FF&E
- experience in preparing and finalising client presentations and technical drawing packages
- confidence communicating with clients and consultants
- capability and willingness to collaborate, innovate communicate, learn and work as a team
- strong skills in 2D and 3D software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite)
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- an exceptional design portfolio
- experience in the commercial and/or hospitality sector
