Basha-Franklin is seeking a mid-level technical designer to join its London studio.

The role
We are looking for a technically strong and design aware individual with experience delivering complex commercial and workplace projects in the UK.
You will play an important role within project teams across RIBA Stages 3 to 6, contributing to technical coordination, detailing, consultant collaboration and site delivery while maintaining the integrity of the design vision throughout the process.
This role would suit someone who enjoys both design thinking and technical problem solving equally.
What we are looking for
Essential:
- RIBA Part 2, Part 3 or equivalent qualification in Architecture or Interior Design
- minimum four years’ post qualification professional experience in the UK
- strong understanding of current UK Building Regulations and statutory requirements
- proven experience on commercial workplace or refurbishment projects in London
- experience across RIBA Stages 3 to 6
- excellent technical detailing and drawing package production skills
- site and construction stage experience through to practical completion
- experience coordinating structural, MEP and specialist consultant information
- experience producing schedules and NBS specifications
- strong communication and presentation skills
- confidence participating in client, consultant and contractor meetings
- right to work in the UK
Software:
- ArchiCAD or Revit experience essential
- strong 2D and 3D BIM workflow capability
- Adobe Creative Suite
- SketchUp
- NBS Chorus
Experience with ArchiCAD is advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
