Poliform is hiring a senior sales designer to join its team in London.
Skills and experience:
- proven experience in interior design, space planning, and sales
- strong project management skills
- proficiency in Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or similar design software
- competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
Job purpose
To maximise company sales by designing and selling Poliform products tailored to clients’ requirements. All staff are expected to uphold and communicate the company’s commitment to excellence in both product quality and customer service.
Main duties:
- welcome and engage clients in the showroom (Wigmore Street or Kings Road), including both walk-in visitors and scheduled appointments, presenting and demonstrating Poliform furniture collections
- visit clients’ premises as required to support project development
- prepare and present design concepts, rendered drawings, and quotations in a professional and compelling manner
- design using internal software and AutoCAD, focusing on Poliform’s core systems such as wardrobes, libraries, and freestanding furniture
- interpret CAD plans, including scaling and scheduling information
- produce detailed drawings, elevations, and renders using internal systems (Metron) and/or CAD software
- upload data and manage project on internal client databases
- follow up on all quotations promptly and work to successfully close sales
- proactively build relationships within the architecture and design (A&D) community, identifying partnership, sponsorship, and showroom exposure opportunities
- consistently meet and exceed sales targets
- complete all required administrative and reporting processes accurately and on time
- maintain and update all project-related documentation, including supplier and delivery information, ensuring effective communication with other departments
- manage projects from initial enquiry through to installation, including site visits and post-completion follow-up
- take overall responsibility for assigned projects, maintaining regular client communication and coordinating with the project coordinator to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
- support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their training and development

As part of a small, dynamic team, all staff are expected to support one another as needed. This may include undertaking duties outside the scope of this role, particularly during staff absences or special events.
