Conran and Partners is hiring a mid-weight interior designers to join its team in London.
We are growing our team and looking for several talented and enthusiastic mid-level interior designers to join our Clerkenwell studio to work on projects both in the UK and internationally.
At Conran and Partners, you’ll work across a wide variety of sectors, scales and geographies – from high-end residential, BTR and some exciting workplace projects in London and Europe, to five-star hotels and clubhouses in Asia – collaborating with our international team of architects and interior designers.
The role
We are looking for mid-level interior designers with proven experience and design sensibilities that align with our studio’s ethos to support new projects in the hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have three plus years’ of experience post-graduation, along with creative drive and technical understanding.
About you:
- minimum of three plus years’ of experience working on design-led projects, up to five years of experience
- a professional degree in interior design or equivalent qualification
- strong creative contribution and ability to present ideas to the senior teams clearly and concisely, as demonstrated through a well-presented CV and portfolio of work
- confident delivery of drawings with an understanding of technical detailing through all stages; on-site experience would be beneficial
- strong knowledge and practical experience of Revit and AutoCAD is fundamental
- confidence in using SketchUp, Rhino and Enscape is beneficial
- a good knowledge of finishes and FF&E specification along with a desire to continually source new and interesting products
- a good eye for space planning and enthusiasm to understand how people will use the space
- strong graphic communication and presentation skills, InDesign and Photoshop experience is essential
- ability to plan time and meet deadlines set by the senior team
- a team player who is adaptable and enthusiastic to develop their career in a well-respected studio further
This is a full-time position and the salary will be commensurate with experience. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
