StudioSmall is looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Mid-Weight Designer to join our team. This role supports the creation of compelling brand, digital, and campaign work across a range of clients. You’ll have at least three years’ experience in a design studio environment and be confident contributing across a variety of touchpoints, with a strong focus on digital. The role is based in our Shoreditch studio.
What you’ll do
– Develop strong visual concepts across brand, digital, and social
– Translate briefs into clear, engaging design solutions
– Work across multiple projects simultaneously
– Collaborate with other members of the team including other designers and developers
– Prepare and deliver polished assets for both digital and print
– Craft both beautiful projects and case studies
What we’re looking for
– 3–5 years of experience in a design role (agency or studio)
– A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to your work
– Excellent website design skills, and strong understanding of UX/UI
– A strong eye for typography and visual detail
– Experience building and applying brand systems
– Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite essential
– Fluency in AI tools — Midjourney, Nano-Banana (or similar)
– Confidence working across motion, animation, and video
– A deep interest in photography and art direction
– A genuine passion for design in all its forms
– Curiosity in design trends, and emerging creative tools and software
– Confidence working independently and as part of a team
