Prest Vale Architects is seeking a talented Part 3 architect to join its team in London.
We are looking for a skilled and thoughtful architect who has qualified in the last three years, and is confident working on high-quality residential projects. You will work closely with our team and directors to develop and deliver several exciting projects in the UK.
We deliver architectural and interior projects of varying use, for both private and commercial clients. A selection of our current jobs include the refurbishment and extension of a 30,000sqft Grade II listed hotel on the edge of Hyde Park, a deep retrofit of a 20,000sqft former dairy building in Notting Hill to create a mixed used centre for fitness and wellness, as well as the sensitive refurbishment of a Grade I Listed Gatehouse in the City of London to create a gallery and workspace.
We are a team of talented and highly motivated designers and we encourage everyone in the office to contribute to and be involved in the design process. We care very much about the development of our team members and we are always looking to help them grow. Most importantly we like our studio to be a happy, creative and enjoyable place to work.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical and presentation skills, whilst possessing a thorough and thoughtful approach to design. They will be passionate about architecture and have a working understanding of all RIBA work stages. Key qualities for this role include a collaborative spirit for working within a team, strong organisational and communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp and Enscape is essential, as well as a good understanding of Photoshop and other relevant software would be beneficial.
