Techspace is seeking a Revit Part 1/2 architectural assistant/interior designer to join its team in London.
Job purpose
This is a high-impact opportunity for an ambitious designer at the beginning of their career to move client-side. You will use your Revit skills to help Techspace create flexible office and event spaces for pioneering technology teams. This role offers a unique “flavour” of the real estate industry, working closely with the property development team to bring the brand experience into the built environment.
In this specialised junior-to-mid-level track, you will focus on the strategic front-end of real estate. You will use Revit to bridge the gap between creative architectural design and commercial viability, conducting feasibility studies that determine if a new building “stacks up” for the Techspace portfolio. Please note the knowledge of Revit is essential for this role.
Key tasks:
- test fits and feasibility: use Revit to produce rapid “test fits” for potential new buildings, ensuring they meet Techspace’s standards for density and flow
- informing the commercial model: your architectural outputs will provide the data needed for the leadership team to build financial models for London and Berlin projects
- client customizations: lead the design and development of bespoke space plans and visualisations for “upgrades” or “customisations” requested by incoming tech tenants
- with support of the property team oversee the delivery of CAT B projects, assisting in reviewing contractor packages and direct packages
Key measurables:
- supporting in developing and setting architectural brand standards and ensuring compliance across all projects
- deliver feasibility design packages for new building developments
- ensure the production of space plans that meet Techspace’s standards for new building prospects and upgrades/customisations
- work within project budgets and standards to deliver new building developments
