NLA is looking for an experienced account manager to lead our architecture sector, drive sector performance, and manage a diverse portfolio of architecture members. This is a strategic, relationship‑led role suited to someone who excels at senior engagement, consultative account management, and building long‑term commercial value.

What you’ll do:
- lead NLA’s architecture sector, delivering the annual strategic plan and reporting on performance
- pversee a broad architecture membership portfolio, focusing on strategic account engagement and value
- develop tailored, consultative account plans to expand relationships and grow commercial revenue
- build strong relationships with Directors and senior leaders across member organisations
- communicate NLA’s value and opportunities clearly and persuasively
- maintain accurate pipelines, renewals and sponsorship data in HubSpot
- act as the architecture sector champion internally – sharing insights, spotting opportunities, and supporting programme development
- attend NLA and industry events to stay close to members and identify commercial opportunities
What you bring:
- advanced account management experience with large, high‑value client portfolios
- a track record of growing revenue through renewals, upselling and sponsorships
- strong communication and influencing skills at senior level
- commercial awareness and experience in sponsorships, partnerships or similar
- ability to turn sector insights into strategy and action
- highly organised, detail‑oriented and confident using CRM systems (HubSpot ideal)
- a strong networker who can build trust quickly
How success will be measured:
- strong, senior-level relationships across your portfolio
- delivery of the Architecture Sector strategic plan and OKRs
- 90 per cent net membership revenue retention
- 20 per cent growth in programme sponsorship
