YARD Architects is looking for a talented Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a vast number of different projects, across all RIBA work stages. Working as part of small team will provide invaluable Part 1 experience and a broad foundation to progress your architectural career.
The role should be held for at least a year, so please do not apply if you plan to start your Part 2 course in September.
The position requires:
- at least a 2:1, ideally a first from your undergraduate degree
- exceptional creative drawing and presentation skills
- excellent working experience of SketchUp, Photoshop and V-Ray
- proficiency in AutoCAD
- high levels of motivation and a proactive mindset
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- excellent English language skills in both spoken and written form
This role does not meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the start of employment.
The role will be studio based with our team in Borough.
