Threefold Architects is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its London studio.

The role
We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and design-focused architectural assistant with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine eagerness to learn and develop, to become an integral member of our team.
You will support the design and delivery of projects across a range of stages, gaining valuable experience while working closely with colleagues, clients, and consultants.
This role offers strong opportunities for professional development within a supportive studio environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong design sensibility, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to produce high-quality drawings, visualisations, and physical/digital models.
Key requirements:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification with a minimum 2:1 RIBA Part 1 degree (UK or equivalent)
- minimum of one years’ experience working in a UK architecture practice
- strong design ability with good spatial and material awareness
- proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling
- ability to produce coordinated drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations)
- experience producing high-quality visualisations and presentations
- good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning context
- strong technical awareness and interest in construction detailing
- proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting and modelling software and Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated approach
- strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and an eagerness to learn
- commitment to sustainable design principles
- eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable skills:
- Revit proficiency
- experience with Vectorworks
Key responsibilities:
- support the development of design proposals across all RIBA stages
- contribute to the preparation of drawing packages, specifications, and presentations
- assist in coordinating project information with consultants and wider team members
- participate in client meetings and design discussions
- undertake research into materials, precedents, and sustainable strategies
- contribute to the timely and high-quality delivery of projects
