Rock Townsend Architects is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are seeking talented and motivated newly qualified Part 2 architectural assistants to join our studio and develop their career with us. Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of commercial, community, education and residential projects in London and the home counties.
You will work as part of a collaborative team where active participation in the design process is essential. We encourage thoughtful and meaningful contributions at every stage, with the opportunity to help shape and refine project outcomes.
This is a full-time position with a start date to coincide with end of University course dates. The role is primarily studio-based, fostering an environment that supports collaboration, learning, and professional development. While flexible working arrangements are available, these are project-dependent and subject to the discretion of the project lead and partners. Our studio promotes a highly collaborative culture, with Partners actively involved across all projects. You will be expected to confidently present your ideas and design decisions to both colleagues and the wider team. We work primarily in Revit but also use SketchUp and Adobe Suite applications; proficiency in these programs is highly desirable but not critical. Strong presentation skills and a keen eye for graphic design will also be advantageous.
