OZA Design is hiring an experienced mid-weight interior designer or senior designer to join its team in London.
OZA Design is based in London and currently has high-end residential projects in the UK, Europe and the U.S. We are looking for an experienced mid-weight designer, senior architect or senior interior designer to join our London studio.
The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident in communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with interior design and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.
All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
- meet with the client in order to understand the client’s objectives and desires
- communicate effectively with the client, vendors and team in order to address the client’s needs
- prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients
- create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
- maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, minimum of five years of experience in the related field
- proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, InDesign, SketchUp and Photoshop
- strong creative and communication skills
- demonstrated ability to execute
- FF&E design and procurement experience is a significant plus
- Experience using EstiMac is a plus
