Galmstrup Architects is recruiting a project architect for cultural heritage projects to join its team in London, UK.
We are searching for a talented project architect to work on cultural heritage projects in the UK and abroad. Galmstrup Architects is a design-led practice specialising in cultural buildings and heritage projects. We work with museums and galleries, visitor and community centres and the transformation of cultural heritage assets.
About the role
Working from our studio at Columbia Road, the project architect will work across various live cultural heritage projects, one of which is about to start on site. Successful candidates should have experience in all RIBA stages of a project, including site experience in the UK, can demonstrate strong design skills and be open to running projects independently with support from senior associates. We are looking for someone who is also creative and innovative, as well as positive, proactive and responsible.
Essential skills:
- must have a minimum of five years’ post Part 2 experience from a practice
- must have worked across all RIBA stages of a project in the UK, including site experience
- interest in heritage and conservation, transformation and environmental design
- attention to detail and able to check and correct own work
- ability to multitask, structured and able to work to deadlines
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
