Natalia Miyar Atelier is hiring a senior procurement coordinator (US specialist) to join its team in London.
The senior procurement coordinator will be responsible for leading the procurement and logistics of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for primarily US-based residential projects. This role requires deep expertise in the US vendor landscape, logistics, regulations, and procurement best practices.
The senior procurement coordinator will oversee sourcing, negotiation, and delivery of FF&E, ensuring all items meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets. As a key partner to the design and finance teams, the senior procurement coordinator will play a critical role in delivering successful, high-quality project outcomes.
This is a full-time role based in London, UK with five days per week in the Chelsea studio.
Core responsibilities:
- contribute to the best practice procurement vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
General and task management:
- source suppliers for high-quality, commercially viable products
- obtain and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing
- estimate creation and support
- assist head of project management and procurement with day to day running of projects
- create and process purchase orders for interior design projects
- negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors
- work closely with interior designers to understand project requirements and specifications
- support communication and collaboration between the procurement and design teams to ensure seamless project execution
- ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and requirements
- inventory ownership, keeping in-stock items and project allocation live & up to date
- research and identify potential suppliers
- maintaining and updating the supplier database with relevant information.
- preparing payment runs for review
- budget tracking and reporting
- identify and mitigate risks associated with FF&E procurement, including supply chain disruptions, contract disputes, and quality control issues
- track the progress of all orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and proactively address any logistical challenges that may arise
- generate regular reports on procurement progress, budget adherence, and vendor performance, providing valuable insights for decision-making
- provide regular updates to the design team on any issues or delays, fostering open communication and collaboration
- communicate effectively and negotiate with all trade suppliers, fostering positive and collaborative relationships
- organise delivery and logistic reports for QC and loading
- ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- maintain accurate records and documentation for reconciliation purposes

Qualifications:
- minimum five plus years of FF&E procurement experience, with a strong focus on US-based projects (essential)
- proven experience working with US suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics networks
- demonstrated success managing large-scale FF&E procurement projects
- strong knowledge of US procurement processes, shipping, and regulations
- excellent financial management and budget control skills
- strong contract negotiation and vendor management experience
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- experience with Studio Designer (preferred but not required)
- willingness to travel as required for supplier and project oversight
This role requires a specialist with deep US market knowledge, not just general procurement experience. Candidates without hands-on US FF&E procurement exposure are unlikely to be suitable.
