Peter Mikic Studio is seeking a talented and enthusiastic junior to mid-weight CGI artist to join our dynamic Shoreditch-based team of architects and interior designers. Our studio specialises in high-end interior design across luxury private residences, yachts, hotels, bars, and restaurants, delivering exceptional projects both locally and internationally.
The role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented CGI artist to help bring our bespoke designs to life. Working closely with the design team, you will support the creation of high-quality, photorealistic visuals that communicate the quality and vision of our world-class projects, while continuing to develop your technical and creative skills.
Responsibilities:
- produce high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings of interiors, furniture, and products from design sketches and plans
- model and texture bespoke elements with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- collaborate with architects and interior designers to refine concepts and ensure visuals align with the design intent
- support the rendering process from initial modelling through to final post-production using Adobe Photoshop
- develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of CGI software, workflows, and techniques
Skills and qualifications:
- a strong portfolio demonstrating photorealistic interior and product renderings
- interior design or architecture qualification preferred
- good to advanced proficiency in 3ds Max and Corona Renderer
- Adobe Photoshop skills for post-production
- Rhino and AutoCAD knowledge a bonus
- a solid understanding of lighting, materials, textures, and composition
- strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow
- good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
